Torrential rain with golden light shining through it illuminating the water purifying and engraving the the moment in time. Perfect afternoons were spent creating these pieces,(PT I & PT II).I had been experimenting with a mysterious yellow pigment mixing it with gypsum and latex paint, it was a record rainy season in Chicago of 2019.To me it was a perfect combination of events culminating in these works in which I tried to capture sunlight in the water
