Portfolio I Chance of rain 2018-2023
After many years of rain a light shone through and the water had a beautiful glow .Together now with the light behind it I could see the beauty before me that had been here the whole time.
This piece and the subsequent series in yellow were inspired by the record rainfall of 2019 in Chicago, a cleansing rain in which I was given a great gift of clarity and peace. I moved and had a new studio with a window, the afternoons spent there were simply golden.
